Chummy House

The holiday home measures 100 m² and sleeps up to seven guests, with four bedrooms and three bathrooms.

Air conditioning, satellite and cable channels, a coffee and tea maker, toiletries, towels, a hair dryer and bathrobes are provided in the home, a private entrance leads into it, and a choice of bed set-ups is available.

The home has a kitchen with a microwave, a refrigerator, a freezer, dishes and dining utensils, and kitchen basics such as cookware, oils and condiments. Coffee or tea is provided, and a washer and an iron are available for guests to use, so cooking and laundry can be done on site.

Entertainment includes video streaming services, cable channels and board games, and children's books and toys are on hand for younger guests. The home also has a desk or workspace, air conditioning, a private entrance and a balcony or terrace.

A crib or baby cot can be provided for younger guests, and internet access is available throughout the home. Parking at the property is paid.

Chummy House sits in the Khaosan area of Banglamphu, the old quarter of Bangkok that has long been the backpacker hub of the city. Khaosan Road is lively and eclectic, with street vendors selling Thai street food and handicrafts, bars and cafés lining the street, and a mix of travellers, artists and locals. It is a neighbourhood for anyone who wants the energy of the old town close at hand, day or night.

Khao San Road is 800 m from the property. The Grand Palace, 1.9 km away, sits beside the Temple of the Emerald Buddha (Wat Phra Kaew), which houses the revered Emerald Buddha. Wat Phra Chetuphon, known as Wat Pho for its reclining Buddha, is nearby, and Wat Arun stands on the opposite bank of the Chao Phraya River.

Don Mueang International Airport is 20.1 km away and Suvarnabhumi Airport is 27.7 km away, while the Sam Yot MRT station is nearby for getting around the city by metro. A good day here starts with the Grand Palace and Wat Phra Kaew, continues with a boat ride along the Chao Phraya to Wat Arun, and ends with an evening stroll along Khao San Road for street food, bars and cafés.
