Chu-Cha's Rooms

Air conditioning is standard in every room at Chu-Cha's Rooms, and the rooms measure 24 m². Each one has a private bathroom with a shower, toiletries, towels and linens, plus a flat-screen TV with a streaming service such as Netflix, an electric kettle, a hair dryer and an alarm clock.

Beds range from a king bed for two guests to a king bed plus a bunk bed for up to four, and the outlook is either the city or the garden.

Guests can use laundry, dry cleaning and ironing services, and daily housekeeping is provided. Luggage storage and safety deposit boxes are available as well, and the laundry service runs alongside the other housekeeping services.

Free WiFi is available in all rooms, and internet access is also offered in the public areas. Free parking is available nearby, and pets are allowed. Restaurants are available, and English and Thai are spoken.

An airport transfer, a shuttle service and car hire are available, and there is also a convenience store nearby. Car hire is useful for getting around the island, since Bo Phut, the Big Buddha and Na Muang Waterfall are spread over several kilometres.

Koh Samui is an island in the Gulf of Thailand, reached by air at Samui Airport. Mae Nam is a village on its coast, next to Bo Phut, where the sea is close and the pace feels relaxed. The beach is 490 m from the property, and the area has a local feel, with the old fishing-village streets of Bo Phut next door to explore on foot.

Fisherman's Village in Bo Phut, a walking street of old wooden shophouses by the sea, is 2.1 km away. The Big Buddha, a large seated Buddha statue overlooking the sea, is 5.1 km away, and Wat Plai Laem, a temple with a large Guanyin statue, is 5.8 km away. Na Muang Waterfall, in the island's interior, is 10.8 km away, and the Hin Ta and Hin Yai Rocks, two rock formations near Lamai, are a longer trip.

One day could take in the Big Buddha and Wat Plai Laem, then Fisherman's Village in the evening. Na Muang Waterfall makes a fuller day trip into the hills, and the Samui Water Park Pink Elephant is also close, a water park for families. The island's airport is on the island itself, so no ferry from the mainland is needed.
