Close to the soi is the Sri Mahamariamman Temple, a Hindu temple on Silom Road.

A good day out starts at the Grand Palace and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha (Wat Phra Kaew), both 4.3 km from the hotel, where the royal complex and its temple halls are worth a full morning. Wat Phra Kaew sits inside the Grand Palace grounds, so one visit covers both sights and the royal halls beside them. In the afternoon, cross the river to Wat Arun, 4.2 km from the hotel, known for its tall central prang, before returning to Silom for dinner.
