The rooms at Chestnut Hill Eco Resort measure between 24 and 61 m², and each one looks out on the mountains. Capacity runs from two to six guests, with several rooms sleeping up to four. Hat Yai International Airport is 18.2 km away, and the resort offers an airport transfer as well as taxi service, so arriving and getting around do not depend on a car alone.

A day in Hat Yai could start at the Santisuk Market and the Kim Yong Market, two local markets for fresh food and everyday goods, then move on to the Magic Eye 3D Museum and the Hat Yai Municipal Park. In the evening, the night bazaar fills up with stalls, and the Phra Maha Chedi Tripob Trimongkol, a Buddhist chedi, is a landmark worth a visit, especially for travellers who want to see the local religious architecture up close.
