Cheevit Cheeva Koh Tao Hostel

The hostel's rooms include a western-style maisonette suite for one guest and bunk beds in two mixed dormitory rooms. The dormitory rooms, of 22 m² and 25 m², each have one bunk bed, air conditioning and a locker.

Both dormitory rooms have a shared bathroom with a shower and toiletries, plus a socket near the bed.

Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, and Wi-Fi also works in the public areas of the hostel. Guests have access to a shared lounge and TV area.

Sairee Beach is the main stretch of sand on Ko Tao, an island in the Gulf of Thailand that is known for diving. Dive schools, guesthouses and small bars line the beach, and many visitors spend their days on the water. The hostel sits on this stretch of the island, with the sand about 140 m away.

Sai Nuan Beach is 3.1 km away, and the Coconut Viewpoint, 1.4 km from the hostel, looks out over the bays of Ko Tao from above. Island Muay Thai, a Muay Thai gym, is 1.2 km away for guests who want to train, while Mango Bay and Ao Tanote Beach are a few kilometres away. Ocean Sound Yoga, a yoga centre on the island, is also within a few kilometres.

The island's ferry pier is 1.8 km from the hostel, and boats from it connect Ko Tao with the mainland and other islands. Snorkelling and diving are the main reasons many visitors come, and Koh Nang Yuan, a small group of islets reached by boat, is a popular day trip for snorkellers. Boat trips are the way to reach the smaller islands around Ko Tao, so an afternoon on the water is an easy way to see the coast. For many visitors, a snorkel trip or a dive is the reason to stay in this part of the island. Staying on Sairee Beach keeps you close to the dive shops and the sea.
