Every room at Charming Resident has air conditioning, a private bathroom with a walk-in shower and a flat-screen TV.

Room sizes run from 26 m² for the Standard Studio to 55 m² for the Two-Bedroom Apartment, and the Superior One-Bedroom Apartment has two king beds for up to four guests.

It suits guests who want a residential base in a lively part of the city rather than the tourist centre. Walking the nearby lanes gives a better sense of the neighbourhood than the main road does.

Ekkamai BTS Station is 800 m away on the Sukhumvit Line, which runs through central Bangkok and the Siam shopping area. Siam Paragon, 6.1 km away, is one of the big malls in the centre, and the Chatuchak Weekend Market, on the northern edge of the city, is a large weekend market with thousands of stalls.

The Grand Palace and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, 10.7 km away, Wat Arun on the Chao Phraya river, and Khaosan Road, the backpacker street, make a full day in the old city. Suvarnabhumi Airport lies 18.1 km away, so allow time for the trip out. Wat Arun is best seen from the river, where its tall prang rises above the Chao Phraya.
