Chao phraya riverfront house /Baan Rimphraya

The house is offered as one home of 250 m² with a river view, sleeping up to six guests. A choice of bed set-ups is available, including a king bed and sofa beds, and the bathroom comes with toiletries, towels and a hair dryer.

The house also provides an electric kettle, a computer, satellite channels and streaming services such as Netflix.

Parking is free at the house, and internet access and WiFi are available. Guests can use a washer and an iron, bicycles are available, and cleaning supplies are provided for guests.

The kitchen has cookware, oils and condiments, a microwave, a refrigerator and a stove, with coffee or tea, dishes and dining utensils. A closet and a desk or workspace are also part of the house.

Keyless access, a balcony or terrace, air conditioning, and TV with cable channels and video streaming services are included. Pets are allowed. Guests who arrive by car can use the free parking on site, and the house is set on a waterfront plot near the river.

The house stands on Soi Samsen 11 in the Wachira Phayaban neighbourhood of Bangkok, on the riverside stretch of the city where older districts meet the water. The Chao Phraya is close by, with Vasukri Pier and other river piers in the immediate area, so the water is never far from the house.

Vasukri Pier is 250 m away, a short stroll along the riverside. The Golden Teak Museum, Wat Rachathiwat Ratchaworawihan and the Church of the Immaculate Conception are all a few hundred metres off, and Sirindhorn MRT Station is 1.3 km away for the metro. Further afield, the Grand Palace is 3.3 km away and Wat Arun, the Temple of the Dawn, is 4 km. Wat Arun sits on the Thonburi bank of the river, so visiting it means crossing the Chao Phraya, while Khaosan Road, 2.1 km away, is the place for street food and bars after a day of sightseeing.

A good day starts at the Grand Palace and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, which stand side by side inside the same complex, and then heads to Wat Arun on the river. In the evening, you can walk back to the pier and watch the boats on the Chao Phraya.
