Chalita House

The rooms at Chalita House have queen, king or double beds, and several of them have a city view over Patong. Rooms with a private bathroom come with a shower and toiletries, and some rooms have a fridge and an in-room safe.

Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, and one standard room with a mountain view sleeps up to three guests. Patong Beach is 800 m from the hotel, so the rooms are close to the sand and to the shops and restaurants of the town.

Patong is one of the best-known resort towns on Phuket, a busy strip of hotels, bars, restaurants and night markets close to the sea. Chalita House sits in the town itself, so the beach, the shops and the bars are all within a short distance of the rooms, and the evening life of the streets nearby is part of the stay.

Patong Beach is 800 m away and Bangla Road, the street of bars and clubs, is 750 m away. The Jungceylon Shopping Center is 550 m from the hotel, and the Banzaan Fresh Market, a night market with food stalls and goods, is close by. A little further, Chaithararam Temple (Wat Chalong) is 6 km away, one of the best-known temples on the island, and Big Buddha Phuket, the large statue on its hill, is 6.8 km away.

A good day is to spend the morning at Wat Chalong and Big Buddha, where a car or taxi is the easiest way to reach the temples, and then return to Patong in the evening for the beach and the night market streets. Kata and Karon beaches, also reached by road, are other options for a day at the sea, and the hotel makes a convenient starting point for either.
