Chaikho Home

Chaikho Home offers doubles, rooms for three and four guests, and family rooms for up to six, several with a balcony or a mountain view. Rooms can have air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, a fan, a coffee or tea maker and a private bathroom with a shower and toiletries.

Beds vary by room, from single and queen beds to bunk beds and sofa beds, and the family rooms sleep up to six guests. The Family Room with Mountain View measures 22 m² and has two queen beds, and rooms with a balcony give you a place to sit outside. The garden and the terrace are also open to guests.

The homestay has an on-site restaurant that serves local and international dishes, a 24-hour front desk, daily housekeeping and a convenience store. Guests can spend time in the garden and on the terrace, and outdoor recreational features are available.

Khao Kho is a hill district of Phetchabun province, higher and cooler than the lowlands below, with green slopes and a slower pace of village life. Chaikho Home sits in the Rim Si Muang area, a small village setting among the hillsides.

The village of Ban Rim Si Muang is 1.1 km away, and the Itthi Artillery Support Base Museum, 4.6 km off, covers the area's military history. Monuments in the hills around Khao Kho lie about 5.7 km away, and a hillside viewpoint with a parking area is 6.9 km away.

Phitsanulok Airport, the nearest airport, is about 110 km away, and the route into the hills is by road. For a day out, Phu Hin Rong Kla National Park, with its rugged cliffs and waterfalls, is further afield, and the Wat Phra That Pha Son Kaew temple is a well-known stop in the Khao Kho area. The garden and terrace at the homestay are good for an outdoor afternoon after exploring.
