Chaidee Mansion

The rooms at Chaidee Mansion are studios, one-bedroom suites and family suites, sleeping from two up to nine guests. Several have city views, and the rooms can have air conditioning, a desk, a seating area, a kitchenette, a microwave and a refrigerator. The rooms can also have blackout curtains and an in-room safe box.

The studios sleep two or three guests, and the family suites sleep six and nine. Both family suites have a whirlpool bathtub and a choice of bed set-ups. Many rooms have a private bathroom with toiletries and towels, and free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms. Flat-screen TVs and satellite channels are found in several rooms.

Chaidee Mansion has an outdoor swimming pool with a separate children's pool, a fitness centre, a spa, a sauna, a steamroom and massage. Business facilities, including copying and fax services, are also available.

For getting around, there is an airport transfer and a shuttle service, and the hotel offers luggage storage, safety deposit boxes and cash withdrawal. A 7 Eleven convenience store is 50 m away.

Families can use the kids club, the playground and the children's swimming pool, and there is a family room. Room service is available, the front desk is open 24 hours, and daily housekeeping and an ironing service are also offered. There is a garden and a terrace as well.

Chaidee Mansion stands on Sukhumvit 13 in Khlong Toei Nuea, within Watthana district in Bangkok. Sukhumvit is one of the city's best-known areas for hotels, restaurants and nightlife, and the side streets off the main road hold a mix of serviced apartments, small shops and eateries. The main road carries heavy traffic, and the Skytrain runs above it, so it is an easy way to move along the district.

Nana BTS Station is 550 m away and Phetchaburi MRT Station is 750 m away, so both the Skytrain and the metro are close by. Siam Paragon, a large shopping centre 2.4 km away, has an aquarium and cinemas, and Jim Thompson House, a teak-built house museum with a collection of Thai art, is also worth a visit.

A full day could start at the Grand Palace, 7.1 km away, with the Temple of the Emerald Buddha inside the same complex, and continue to Wat Arun on the Chao Phraya riverbank. Chatuchak Weekend Market, 6.1 km away, is held on weekends and is a good place for an afternoon of shopping and street food. Wat Arun is on the opposite bank of the Chao Phraya from the Grand Palace, so both sights can be combined on one trip.
