Chabana Kamala Hotel

The rooms at Chabana Kamala Hotel include a Deluxe Room of 38 m² and a Superior Room of 28 m², both sleeping up to two guests with a choice of bed set-ups. Further rooms sleep up to three or five guests, and the hotel also has a Single Deluxe room with air conditioning and a Deluxe room with a mountain view.

Across the hotel, rooms can have blackout curtains, a private bathroom, a hair dryer, a coffee or tea maker, an in-room safe box and a walk-in shower. Some rooms have an electric kettle and a refrigerator.

Kamala is a quieter stretch of Phuket's west coast, a village of beach resorts and local shops along the beach. Chabana Kamala Hotel sits on Kamala-Patong Road, a calmer base than the busier Patong, with the beach close by. The village has a more relaxed pace than Patong, with the beach as its main draw and a handful of shops and bars along the road.

Kamala Beach is 350 m away, and Phuket FantaSea, the large cultural theme park, is close by. The Kamala Night Market is a short stroll from the hotel's area, and Patong Beach, 4.9 km away, offers the nightlife of Bangla Road. The Big Buddha on the hills and Chaithararam Temple, known as Wat Chalong, are further afield, and Phuket International Airport is 18.2 km away. The hotel's own pool and shared lounge are an easy place to spend time between outings.

A good day could start at the Big Buddha, then continue to Wat Chalong, one of the island's most revered temples. Back in Kamala, the evening can end at the night market, after an afternoon by the hotel's pool. Phuket's west coast also has a string of other beaches, so a second day can be spent exploring the coast from Kamala.
