Cha homestay

Every room at Cha homestay has air conditioning, a mountain view and a balcony or terrace, along with a private bathroom with a shower, toiletries and towels. Each room also has a dining table in a separate dining area.

The Double Room with Balcony has a king bed for up to two guests, and the Family Room has two queen beds for up to four guests. Both measure 28 m² and have a separate dining area.

The homestay has a restaurant, a coffee shop and a snack bar, and it offers room service, food delivery and barbecue facilities. Thai cuisine with vegetarian and gluten-free dishes is served at the restaurant. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms and in the public areas.

A tour desk is available for day trips and excursions in the surrounding area, and tours are offered as well, so the area's forest and waterfalls can be explored in a day. Cha homestay is in Khao Sok (Suratthani), an inland area of Surat Thani province in southern Thailand, where limestone mountains rise above dense rainforest. It is a forest setting rather than a beach one, and the mountain views from the rooms reflect that. The attractions here are outdoors, with forest trails, viewpoints and waterfalls, so the area is best for travellers who want to walk and see wildlife.

Khao Sok National Park is 1.9 km away and is one of the area's main attractions, with rainforest trails, limestone cliffs and a lake within its boundaries. Closer to the homestay, the Khao Sok Valley Viewpoint is 650 m away and looks out over the valley, and a monkey pond is nearby. Mae Yai Waterfall, 3.3 km away, is one of the falls in the surrounding forest, and the Elephant Sanctuary is also close by.

A good day out starts in the national park, where forest trails lead to viewpoints and waterfalls, and it can end at the valley viewpoint with the mountains all around. Several waterfalls and viewpoints are within a few kilometres of the homestay, so the day can be built around them. For longer trips, Surat Thani Airport is 72.8 km away, and the homestay offers an airport transfer.
