Cha Cha Guesthouse

Air conditioning is standard in the rooms at Cha Cha Guesthouse. The rooms range from a 10 m² single room with a garden view to a 30 m² family room with a balcony and a mountain view. Sizes and views change from one room to the next, and the right room depends on how many people are travelling and whether a view matters to you.

The double rooms measure 16 to 20 m² and have a queen bed, and some of them come with a balcony. The guesthouse also has a single room for one guest and a family room for up to five guests, with a choice of bed set-ups. Several rooms include a mosquito net and linens.

Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms and in the public areas, and free parking is available. Pets are allowed, and the hotel has safety deposit boxes for valuables. Family rooms are also offered, including a family room for up to five guests.

The reception staff speak Arabic, English, Thai and Turkish. Bicycle parking is available for guests who ride, and the public areas have air conditioning, so the lobby and common spaces stay cool during the day.

In the rooms, you can expect a hair dryer, an electric kettle, a closet and a clothes rack, with towels, linens and toiletries. Satellite and cable channels are on the television, and rooms can have free bottled water.

Patong is one of Phuket's best-known beach towns, with a long sandy bay, a lively evening scene and a mix of hotels, restaurants and bars. Cha Cha Guesthouse stands on Rajpathanusorn Road in the town itself, so the streets of Patong and the sea are a short walk away.

The beach, the shops and the nightlife are all within a short distance of the rooms. Patong Beach is 600 m from the hotel, and Bangla Road, the street of bars and clubs, is 800 m away. Jungceylon Shopping Center, with its shops and restaurants, is also 800 m away, while Banzaan Fresh Market, which has an evening section, is 850 m from the hotel. The night market lies 700 m off, an easy walk for a late dinner.

A good day trip from Patong starts with Chaithararam Temple, also called Wat Chalong, one of the most important temples on Phuket, followed by the Big Buddha on its hilltop. Phuket FantaSea, a large cultural theme park, is reached by road, and Kata and Karon beaches are further along the coast. For a quieter beach day, Freedom Beach is a secluded beach that is usually reached by boat, and Bangla Road is the place for an evening out after a day on the sand.
