Centre Point Sukhumvit - Thong Lo Hotel

It is a residential and dining neighbourhood rather than a sightseeing quarter, so the main sights are reached by train, boat or taxi.

The Thong Lo BTS Station is 900 m away, and the Skytrain runs from there towards Siam and central Bangkok. Siam Paragon, a large shopping centre with an aquarium, is 5.4 km from the hotel. The Grand Palace and Wat Arun, the riverside temple with its tall prang, are about 10 km away. The Ekkamai Bus Station, 1.3 km away, serves routes to eastern Thailand.

A day could start at the Grand Palace and Wat Arun, then continue by boat to Asiatique, the riverfront complex with shops and restaurants. Back in Thong Lo, the Soi 38 Nightmarket is a good place for an evening meal, and Chatuchak Weekend Market is a longer trip across town that works best as a full day out. Getting back to the hotel is simple, since the BTS line runs along Sukhumvit.
