Rooms at Central Old Town Cottage come with free Wi-Fi and sleep between two and four guests. Beds are queen beds, double beds, single beds and futons, and some rooms have a city view or a garden view.

Khaosan Road is 400 m away, and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha (Wat Phra Kaew) is 850 m off, inside the Grand Palace complex. Wat Arun stands across the Chao Phraya River, and Sam Yot MRT Station is 1.1 km away for travellers who prefer the metro. Suvarnabhumi Airport is 28.1 km away.

A good first day is to walk between the temples of the old city, then cross the river to Wat Arun. Sanam Luang, the large open field near the Grand Palace, is good for a stroll, and in the evening the Khaosan streets fill with restaurants and street food, a lively contrast with the temple grounds. The Chatuchak Weekend Market is further out across the city for those who want a larger market.
