Capricorn Village offers bungalows and standard rooms, several with a garden view and several with a king bed. Rooms can have air conditioning, a desk, blackout curtains, a refrigerator, an in-room safe and a balcony or terrace, and some have a fold-up bed. Taxis and songthaews are useful for reaching the beaches further away, and Phuket International Airport is 24.1 km from the hotel, so the drive from the airport is the first leg of any trip to the area.

A good day could start on Patong Beach, continue with a browse through the shops at Jungceylon and finish at Banzaan Fresh Market (Night) after dark. For a change of scene, Wat Chalong (Chaithararam Temple), 6.7 km away, is one of the island's best-known temples, and the Big Buddha is a popular stop for visitors.
