Cape Ratchada

Cape Ratchada has dormitory beds as well as family accommodation, so solo travellers and families can both stay here. The dormitory rooms have single beds, bunk beds or double beds, and the family accommodation includes Family Suite L, which sleeps four guests, and the Family Studio Suite, which sleeps up to five.

Cape Ratchada is on Soi 7 Chanmueng 16 in Din Daeng, a district of Bangkok on the Ratchada side of the city, where busy roads, shops and markets sit alongside quieter residential lanes. The Thailand Cultural Centre MRT station on the Blue Line is 350 m from the hotel, and the line runs into central Bangkok. Food stalls and small shops line the streets around the metro, so the neighbourhood stays busy into the evening.

Jodd Fairs Ratchada, a night market with street food and stalls, is 200 m away. Chatuchak Weekend Market, one of Bangkok's largest markets, is about 4 km off and is busiest at weekends, and Siam Paragon, a large shopping mall in the Siam area, is 4.5 km away. The Grand Palace and Wat Arun, on the Chao Phraya riverbank, are further away in the old city.

A good day out starts at the Grand Palace and Wat Phra Kaew, the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, in the old city, and continues to Wat Arun on the riverbank. Wat Phra Kaew sits inside the Grand Palace complex, so both can be visited together. Back in Ratchada, the evening can end at the Jodd Fairs night market, close to the hotel.
