The rooms at Cafe Ice Residences include king and queen rooms, a family suite that sleeps up to four guests, and a suite with a balcony or terrace and a garden view. Several rooms have a whirlpool bathtub, and most have a hair dryer. Air conditioning and a flat-screen TV are in most rooms, and free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms.

Some rooms have a private bathroom with a shower, others share a bathroom, and a few look out onto the garden. The Ice Suite sleeps up to three guests, and the family suite sleeps up to four, so larger parties can stay under one roof.

The streets around it mix office towers, embassies and older shophouses, and several embassies are within a few hundred metres. Office workers fill the streets during the day, and the older shophouses give the area a local feel.

Chong Nonsi BTS Station is 200 m away, and Saint Louis BTS Station is 550 m away, so the Skytrain links the hotel to the shopping areas around Siam. Lalai Sap Market and Chong Nonsi Canal Park are both a few hundred metres from the hotel. Jim Thompson House, a museum devoted to Thai silk, is 2.9 km away, and the Grand Palace is 5.2 km from the hotel. Between the Skytrain and the river, the hotel is well connected to both the modern shopping districts and the old temples.

A good day could start at Lalai Sap Market, then continue on the Skytrain towards Siam, or take a river boat from Oriental Pier towards the temples along the Chao Phraya. Wat Arun, on the far bank of the river, is one of Bangkok's best-known temples. Suvarnabhumi Airport is 23.9 km from the hotel, so allow time for the journey when you plan your arrival.
