The Pak Bara ferry terminal is about 200 m from the hostel, and the nearby beaches are a short ride away: Cu Pa Noi Beach is 3 km off, Bulo Beach 3.5 km and Gray Sandy Beach 4.8 km. Ban Bo Chet Luk village is also nearby, and the Bang Sila Beach viewpoint lies further along the coast, and the Wijit Janya Garden, a green space with walking paths, is a good place for a slower afternoon.

A simple day could start with a morning at Cu Pa Noi Beach and end back at the hostel's lounge, with its TV and library. Parking is available nearby, so arriving by car is an option, and the ferry pier is the starting point for boats to the islands.
