Buakao Inn

Every room at Buakao Inn has air conditioning, a fan, a private bathroom with a shower, towels, toiletries and linens, and a refrigerator with free bottled water.

The inn has a single room with one single bed, a twin room with two single beds and a double room with a double bed. The twin room and the double room each measure 16 m² and sleep two guests. The single room sleeps one guest.

Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, and the inn's public areas are air-conditioned. Daily housekeeping is offered, and safety deposit boxes are available for valuables. Internet services are also offered for guests.

For meals, the facilities include a coffee shop and restaurants, and parking is available nearby. English and Thai are spoken at the inn.

Buakao Inn is in Thong Sala, the main town on Ko Pha-ngan and the island's ferry hub, where boats dock at the pier. Everyday life here centres on the market streets, the pier and the small local shops, and the town is a practical place to start exploring the rest of the island. Thong Sala Beach sits close to the pier, so the town's waterfront is an easy place to walk.

Thong Sala Beach is 250 m from the inn, and the Chinese Temple is 600 m away, so a stroll through town can take in both. The King Chulalongkorn (Rama V) Monument and the HTMS Phangan 713 Warship Museum are also close by, while Phantip Market is 50 m from the inn.

Ko Pha-ngan has no airport, so arrival is by boat: the Ko Pha-ngan Pier is 500 m away, and the nearest airport, Samui Airport, is 20 km away on Koh Samui. Boats from Thong Sala link the island with the mainland and with Koh Samui, so the pier is the island's main gateway. A simple day here could begin at Thong Sala Beach, continue through the market streets, and end with a look at the warship museum and the monument.
