Chaweng Noi Beach is 2 km away, and the Big Buddha temple is 6.3 km away on a hill with a large seated Buddha statue. The Walking Street and the Night Market are the places for shopping and street food after dark. Fisherman's Village in Bophut is a restored fishing village with small shops and cafés. Bangkok Hospital Samui is 950 m away. Samui Airport is on the island itself, so the last part of the journey from the airport does not need a boat.

A good day here could start with a morning on Chaweng Noi Beach, continue with an afternoon at the Big Buddha, and end with an evening at the Walking Street or the Night Market. Chaweng Yai Beach, another long sandy beach with beach bars, is 2.8 km away, so there is a choice of stretches of sand to visit. Fisherman's Village makes a relaxed stop in the afternoon, with its cafés and small shops. Back at the hotel, the outdoor pool and the hot tub are available for the evening.
