BP Grand Suite Hotel sits on Sanaehanusorn Road in Hat Yai, the largest city in Songkhla province and a busy commercial city close to the Malaysian border. The streets around the hotel are lined with markets, shops and food stalls, so the neighbourhood is busy during the day, and a convenience store, a hospital and an ATM are all close by.

Santisuk Market is 400 m away, and Our Lady of Lourdes Church, a Catholic church, is 600 m away. Hat Yai Railway Station is 500 m from the hotel, while the Asean Night Bazaar is 1.6 km away. Hat Yai International Airport is 11.3 km from the hotel, so most arrivals by air reach the city by road.

For a day out, Wat Hat Yai Nai is a Buddhist temple in the city, and Hat Yai Municipal Park offers green space for a stroll. The Magic Eye 3D Museum is another stop for visitors who want something different, and in the evening the night bazaar is a common stop for food and shopping. Visitors interested in local religion can visit both Wat Hat Yai Nai and Our Lady of Lourdes Church, which reflects the mix of faiths found in the city.
