Pratunam Market and the Four Seasons Mall are closer still, and the Jim Thompson House, a museum in a group of traditional teak houses, is 1.1 km from the hotel. Don Mueang International Airport is the nearest airport at 19.2 km, and Suvarnabhumi Airport lies 24 km away.

A day could start with the stalls around Pratunam, continue with the Jim Thompson House and the Siam shopping area, and end on the Chao Phraya riverfront at Asiatique - The Riverfront. The Grand Palace and the Chatuchak Weekend Market are further across the city, so they make a separate day out. Evenings in the area bring food stalls and shops out along the streets, while the riverside at Asiatique is a quieter setting by the water.
