Phaholyothin Road is a wide avenue with offices, shops and apartment buildings, and the weekend markets and the BTS skytrain are close by, away from the busiest tourist streets.

The hotel is 500 m from Saphan Khwai BTS Station, on the Sukhumvit line, which runs into the central shopping and business districts. Chatuchak Weekend Market is 650 m away, one of Bangkok's best-known weekend markets for clothes, crafts, food and plants, and the Chatuchak Flower Market is 400 m from the hotel. Or Tor Kor Market, known for fresh produce and fruit, is also nearby, and Kamphaeng Phet MRT station is a short walk away. The Grand Palace, in the old city, is 8.5 km away, so it is better planned as a separate outing.

A good day starts at Chatuchak Weekend Market in the morning, then continues by BTS to the centre, where Siam Paragon and Jim Thompson House, a teak house museum with a silk collection, are the main stops for shopping and culture. Don Mueang Airport, 14.1 km away, is the closer of Bangkok's two main airports for the hotel.
