A good day could start with the temples and continue with a walk along the river to the Rama 8 Bridge pier, which is close by. Santichaiprakan Park is a green break from the busy streets, and the old city's palaces and shrines are easy to fit into one afternoon, with the riverside piers close enough to make the walk back to the apartment simple.
