Every room at Blue River Resort looks out onto the garden. The accommodation includes double and twin rooms, garden villas and a family room, along with rooms with accessible bathrooms for guests who need them.

The Phitsanulok Night Bazaar is 1.6 km away and is the place to go in the evening for street food and local goods. The Sgt. Maj. Thawee Folk Museum, 1.8 km away, shows traditional local life and crafts, while Wat Phra Sri Rattana Mahathat (Wat Yai), at 2.5 km, is one of the city's most important temples. The railway station, 2 km from the property, has train links on the northern line.

A good way to spend a day is to visit the temples in the morning and end the day at the Night Bazaar, with a taxi ride covering the longer distances, since the sights are spread across the city. Phitsanulok Airport is 4.8 km away, so the city is an easy first stop for travellers arriving by air before heading north or to the temples of Sukhothai.
