The rooms at Blue Planet Hotel come with double beds, two single beds or a queen bed, and some of them sleep up to four guests. The Deluxe Double Room with Balcony has a balcony with a street view, and rooms can have air conditioning, a refrigerator, toiletries and a hair dryer.

Further out, the Chaithararam Temple, known as Wat Chalong, is 6.9 km away and is one of the island's best-known temples, while the Big Buddha on Nakkerd Hills, a large white Buddha statue, is 7.9 km away. Phuket International Airport, 23.8 km from the hotel, is the island's main airport, and a taxi is the simplest way to reach the temples.

A day could begin with a swim at Patong Beach, move on to Kalim Beach, and end with dinner and a walk along Bangla Road. For a full day out, the Big Buddha and Wat Chalong make a natural pair, since they are both in the same part of the island.
