Bliss Boutique Hotel

Kata Noi Beach, a quieter bay to the south, is nearby as well.

The Big Buddha, the large white statue on the hills above Chalong, lies 1.5 km away, and Chaithararam Temple (Wat Chalong), one of the best-known temples on the island, is 4.8 km away. Wat Kitti Sangkharam, a pagoda, is also close by. Phuket International Airport is 32 km away, and a minibus station is within walking distance, although getting to the temples is easiest by taxi or hired car.

A good day combines the beaches with the temples: visit the Big Buddha in the morning and return to Kata Beach for the afternoon. In the evening, the Kata Walking Street Night Market is a short walk away, while Patong, 7 km from the hotel, offers the island's busiest nightlife. Kata and Karon are both sandy bays, so an afternoon can easily move from one to the other, and the Kata Walking Street Night Market is open in the evening.
