Phuket FantaSea, the large theatre and cultural show complex, is 3.2 km away, while Patong Beach, Phuket's best-known resort beach with restaurants and nightlife, is 8.8 km away. Chaithararam Temple (Wat Chalong), one of the island's most revered temples, is 16.3 km away, and Phuket International Airport (HKT) is 14.1 km away.

A good day could start on Bang Tao Beach, then continue with a visit to Big Buddha, the large white statue on a hilltop, before an evening at the Bang Tao Night Market. Getting around Phuket usually means a car or a taxi, as the beaches are spread across the island, and tours can be arranged through the resort.
