Ben's House

The Ao Nang Night Market is 200 m away and makes a good place for an evening meal from the food stalls. Tiger Cave Temple (Wat Tham Suea), 14.9 km away, is worth the trip for its long stairway up to a hilltop shrine. Railay Beach, 3.4 km away across the bay, is reached by longtail boat, with its limestone cliffs rising above the sand. Walking along the seafront is an easy way to see the town, with its bays and beaches close together.

A day could begin on Noppharathara Beach, then take a longtail boat to Railay for the cliffs and the sea, and finish the evening at the night market. The temple suits a separate half day, and boat trips can be called off in rough seas during the rainy months. Those who prefer a quieter day can stay on the sand at Noppharathara Beach and walk back along the seafront in the evening.
