A day could start with a swim at Patong Beach, continue to Wat Chalong and the Big Buddha on its hilltop, and end the evening on Bangla Road. The Big Buddha and Wat Chalong are separate sights, so they are best planned as their own stops. Phuket International Airport is 24.1 km away, and taxis and tuk-tuks are the usual way to get around the area, with the night market 450 m from the hotel for an evening stroll.
