Bed's Friend

The rooms at Bed's Friend are studios, twin rooms and double rooms measuring 18 to 20 m². Depending on the room, the beds are queen beds, pairs of single beds or a double bed, and several rooms have a city view.

Most rooms have a private bathroom with a shower and toiletries, a flat-screen TV and air conditioning, and some add a mini bar and a refrigerator. One double room has a balcony, and one studio has no window. Rooms with a private bathroom have toiletries and towels, and the twin rooms have two single beds each, including the studio twin room with its window.

Guests can use a 24-hour front desk, luggage storage, a laundry service and daily housekeeping, and the hotel also has 24-hour security. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, and there is Wi-Fi in the public areas as well.

For drinks and snacks, there is a bar on site, a vending machine and bottles of water. A convenience store and a salon are on the premises, and cash withdrawal is available.

English, Korean and Thai are spoken. Rooms can have satellite or cable channels and a telephone, and the public areas are air-conditioned. The front desk staff can assist with services including luggage storage, and the convenience store can cover small or last-minute needs.

Bed's Friend stands on Saphan Khu Alley in Sathorn, one of Bangkok's main business districts, where office towers and large shopping centres sit alongside quieter streets and small local shops. It is a practical area for anyone who plans to explore the city by metro.

Lumphini MRT station is 450 m away on the Blue Line, and Khlong Toei MRT station is on the same line. Siam Paragon, a large shopping centre, is 3 km away, and Jim Thompson House, a museum of traditional Thai teak houses set around a garden, is 3.6 km away. The Grand Palace and Wat Arun, across the river, are among the city's best-known sights, and Wat Arun, with its tall porcelain-covered prang, is one of the most photographed temples in Bangkok.

A full day can start at the Grand Palace and continue to Khaosan Road for the evening, or end at Asiatique, the riverfront shopping and night market. Khaosan Road, known for its street food and evening bars, is in the old city, and visitors often combine it with the temples and a return to Sathorn by metro. Chatuchak Weekend Market, 8.4 km away, is a long trip but a good choice for a weekend morning.
