Wat Arun, the temple of the dawn on the riverbank, is 3.6 km away, and the Grand Palace is 4.2 km away, with the Temple of the Emerald Buddha inside its walls. Wat Phra Chetuphon, known as Wat Pho and famous for its reclining Buddha, is close to the palace. Asiatique The Riverfront, a riverside shopping and dining complex, is 4.8 km away, and Khaosan Road, the backpacker street, is 5.4 km away.

A good day could start with the Grand Palace and Wat Pho, which are close to each other, followed by Wat Arun in the afternoon. In the evening, Asiatique The Riverfront is a riverside place to eat and shop. Bang Wa BTS station is also nearby if you prefer the Skytrain.
