Beach Club by Haadtien

Beach Club by Haadtien has rooms with king beds, several of them with a view of the sea. The Ocean Balcony, the Beach Balcony and the Sea Balcony each have one king bed and a partial sea view, and the Penthouse has a beach view and a whirlpool bathtub. The Ocean Family offers two king beds and room for up to four guests, and the Ocean Family Room sleeps up to three.

Several rooms have a private bathroom with a shower, toiletries and towels, and an electric kettle, and some also have a DVD/CD player or satellite channels. A double room with air conditioning, a window, a desk and a telephone sleeps up to two guests, and another double room also sleeps up to two guests.

The resort has an outdoor swimming pool, a spa and sauna, and a garden and terrace. For meals there is a restaurant, a snack bar, a poolside bar and room service, with a buffet breakfast and food delivery.

Activities include diving, snorkelling, canoeing, hiking, massage and non-motorised water sports, and tours can be arranged. A complimentary shuttle service runs from the property to the pier. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, and Wi-Fi is also offered in the public areas. Luggage storage, safety deposit boxes, daily housekeeping and laundry service are offered too, and English and Thai are spoken. Tours and water sports are both available, so guests can plan a day on the water alongside time at the pool.

Ko Tao is a small island in the Gulf of Thailand, known for diving and snorkelling. Beach Club by Haadtien sits in the Haadtien area around Shark Bay, on the Thian Og Bay side of the island, and the beach is 60 m from the resort, so the sea is a short walk from the rooms. Several small bays lie close to the resort, and the main beaches are only a few kilometres apart.

The John-Suwan Mountain Viewpoint, 850 m away, is a hilltop lookout over the Ao Chalok and Ao Thian bays, and Snorkel beach is nearby. Sairee Beach, 2.8 km away, is the island's best-known beach, with a lively stretch of bars and restaurants along it. The ferry pier is where boats to and from the mainland leave, and the resort's shuttle takes guests there.

A good day starts with a swim at Snorkel beach and continues with a boat trip out to Koh Nang Yuan, 6.5 km away, a small island known for snorkelling and diving. In the late afternoon, the viewpoint over the bays is a good place for views across the water, and the shuttle makes it simple to get to the pier for the ferry.
