Bauman Ville Hotel

Bauman Ville Hotel has rooms for up to six guests, and several of them overlook the city. Rooms can have air conditioning, blackout curtains, a desk, an in-room safe, a mini bar and a refrigerator, and a private bathroom with a shower and toiletries.

Family and triple rooms sleep up to four guests, and some rooms offer a choice of bed set-ups. Several rooms have a city view.

Patong is one of Phuket's best-known beach towns, with a long stretch of sand, a busy seafront and a wide choice of restaurants and bars. Patong Beach is 1.1 km from the hotel, and Bangla Road, the street of bars and nightclubs, is 1.4 km away. Anyone who wants a lively evening will find plenty here, and those who want quieter days can head to the other beaches on the island.

Shopping and nightlife are close by. Jungceylon Shopping Center, a large mall, is in the same neighbourhood, and the Thai dragon night market, with food stalls and souvenirs, is about 550 m away. For temples and sights, Big Buddha Phuket, the large seated figure on a hill, is 6.2 km away, and Chaithararam Temple, known as Wat Chalong, is one of the island's most revered temples.

Phuket International Airport is 25.6 km from the hotel, and getting around the island usually means taxis, car hire or a rented scooter. Karon Beach and Kata Beach are other stretches of sand on the island for a change of scene. A good day could start with a swim at Patong Beach, continue to Big Buddha, and end with an evening at Phuket FantaSea, a theme park with a cultural show.
