Further afield, Chaithararam Temple, known as Wat Chalong, is 5.6 km away, and the Big Buddha Phuket statue on its hilltop is 6.2 km away.

A good way to spend a day is to start at Wat Chalong, continue to Big Buddha for wide views over the island, and return to Patong for dinner and the evening market. Phuket International Airport (HKT) is 25.6 km away, and the hotel offers an airport transfer and car hire for getting around the island. Other beaches, including Kata Beach and Karon Beach, are further along the coast and can be reached by road, and Phuket FantaSea, a large cultural theme park with an evening show, is also worth a visit after dark.
