The Commemoration of King Rama IX Public Park is also close by, and Lan Rak Waterfall lies 11.9 km away. Khao Yai National Park, a large forest reserve with walking trails and wildlife, is 32.5 km from the hotel and is best reached as a separate trip from the town, with its walking trails making it a full day out.

A good day could begin at the Fruit Market and at Wat Phothinayok, then continue to Lan Rak Waterfall or to the forest trails of Khao Yai National Park, which lies further from the hotel. The public park is a simple stop for a walk before or after the temple visit, and the town's temples and parks make a calm half-day without leaving Nakhon Nayok.
