Bann Aim

All rooms at Bann Aim have air conditioning and free Wi-Fi, and their sizes run from 18 to 45 m². Queen and king beds sleep up to two guests in several of the rooms, and one room accommodates up to three guests.

Several rooms have a shower with toiletries and a flat-screen TV with satellite and cable channels, and complimentary tea, instant coffee and bottled water are offered in a number of them. Some rooms also have a microwave, and one has a refrigerator.

The main shared space is the lounge and TV area, where you can relax on sofas in front of a large flat-screen TV with a wide range of channels. Luggage storage is available for guests who arrive early or leave late.

Free Wi-Fi covers all rooms, and Wi-Fi is also available in the public areas. English and Thai are spoken, and air conditioning is standard in the rooms.

Bann Aim is on Chareonnakorn 10 in Klong San, in the Bangkok Riverside area along the Chao Phraya river. The neighbourhood is calmer than the central shopping districts, with small temples and river piers that give the streets a slower rhythm than downtown. For travellers who want to stay near the old city's historic sights without the bustle of the busiest streets, this part of Bangkok offers a quieter base on the river.

Transport starts with the Charoen Nakhon BTS station, 250 m from the property. Asiatique The Riverfront, a riverside entertainment complex and night market, is 2.3 km away, and Wat Arun, known as the Temple of Dawn, is 3 km away. The Grand Palace is 3.4 km away and is reached by taxi or river ferry, and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha stands inside its walls. Khaosan Road, the backpacker street in Banglamphu, is 4 km away.

A full day could begin at The Grand Palace and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, which share the same complex, then continue to Wat Arun on the riverside and finish the evening at Asiatique by the water. Taxis and river ferries are the practical ways to move between these sites, so the day can be planned around the river.
