BanKruAe Homestay

The rooms at BanKruAe Homestay look onto the garden or the park, and several have a queen bed. Some have a whirlpool bathtub and a walk-in or roll-in shower, and toiletries and towels are provided in several rooms.

The Large Double Room accommodates up to four guests and has a garden view, a whirlpool bathtub and a walk-in shower. The King Room with Garden View accommodates up to three guests and has a private bathroom with a whirlpool bathtub. The Standard Room has a park view, air conditioning, a mini bar and a refrigerator, and the 50 m² room with a bunk bed accommodates one guest with its own bathroom.

The homestay has a garden, a solarium, a library and a shared lounge with a TV area, along with a massage service and a fitness centre. Laundry service and a laundromat are available, and daily housekeeping is also provided. Guests can also ask about bicycles, a shuttle service and tours.

BanKruAe Homestay is in the Don Mueang district of Bangkok, a residential area of local streets, temples and markets around the airport of the same name. The neighbourhood is more residential than touristy. It works well as a base for a night before a flight or a short stopover rather than a full day in the old city. Don Mueang International Airport is 2.4 km from the property, the nearest airport, while Suvarnabhumi Airport is considerably farther away.

Wat Don Muang, a pagoda 1.3 km away, is a quiet temple to visit, and Child Park offers a green break in the neighbourhood. Sethasiri Backyard, a garden space, is also nearby. For onward travel, Don Muang Railway Station, 1.6 km away, connects the area with central Bangkok by rail, and the Open Air Night Market is an evening outing close by.

A day out could start at Chatuchak Weekend Market, 16 km away, one of the city's best-known weekend markets. The Grand Palace and Wat Arun make a separate day in the old city, reached by a longer journey from the homestay, so it is worth planning that route in advance. In the evening, the Open Air Night Market offers a closer alternative for a stroll.
