A night market is close by for an evening meal, and an ATM is nearby for cash. Jungceylon, Bangla Road and the beach are all in the same part of Patong, so the walk between them stays within the town.

A day could start with a swim at Patong Beach, continue to Kalim Beach, a smaller bay with a different feel 1.9 km away, and end with a visit to Big Buddha Phuket, the large seated statue on a hilltop. Phuket International Airport is 24.1 km away, and the Big Buddha and Kalim Beach are both reached by road from Patong.
