The house measures 430 m² and has four bedrooms and five bathrooms, with room for up to eight guests. Its beds come in a choice of set-ups with single or double beds, and the house has air conditioning and a private entrance.

Comforts include a TV with satellite and cable channels, linens, a hair dryer and toiletries, a coffee and tea maker, complimentary tea and instant coffee. Guests also have a kitchen, a washer and an iron at their disposal, and the house sits on the quieter Thonburi side of the river, across from the old city.

The kitchen has a refrigerator, a stove and a microwave, with dishes and dining utensils, cookware, oils and condiments. Dishes and dining utensils are also provided for everyday cooking, and linens are included. A coffee or tea maker is provided, and a BBQ grill is available for cooking outdoors.

For laundry there is a washer and an iron. Free parking is available on site. The house also has a desk or workspace, a closet, an indoor fireplace, and air conditioning, with a TV that includes cable channels. Internet access is available, and the TV is set up with cable channels for evenings in.

Body wash, toiletries, ceiling or portable fans and a hair dryer are also provided, and smoking is allowed.

Bang Phlat sits on the Thonburi side of the Chao Phraya River, on the western bank facing Bangkok's old city across the water. It is a quieter, more traditional part of the city, with temples, neighbourhood markets and streets where daily life runs at a slower pace than in the central business districts.

Bang Bamru SRT station is 600 m away and Sirindhorn MRT station is a little further, so trains are a practical way into the city. On the Thonburi bank, Wat Arun, the Temple of Dawn, is 5.2 km away, while the Grand Palace is 4.6 km away on the other side of the river in the old city. Khaosan Road is also reached by crossing to the old city. Chatuchak Weekend Market is one of Bangkok's largest weekend markets, a longer trip from here.

A good day here begins with a riverside walk on the Thonburi side, then a visit to Wat Arun, whose tiered prang rises above the water. In the afternoon you can cross to the old city to see the Grand Palace, and finish the day around Khaosan Road. The river ferry piers are a few kilometres away, so the boat is a practical link between the two banks.
