The rooms at Bangkok Residence include the Jacuzzi Deluxe and the superior room, both 28 m² with a city view and room for up to three guests, plus the Deluxe Room, which is also 28 m². Bed set-ups vary by room, and the Triple Room Sea sleeps up to four guests.

Bangkok Residence is in the lively part of Patong, where the beach, the shops and the nightlife are all within a few hundred metres of one another, and the streets around it fill with street-food stalls and massage shops in the evening. Most of the streets nearby are lined with restaurants, shops and bars, so there is plenty to choose from without going far from the hotel.

The beach is 650 m away, and Jungceylon Shopping Centre is 150 m from the hotel. Bangla Road, the street of bars and clubs that gives Patong its nightlife, is 450 m away, and a night market opens nearby. Further afield, Chaithararam Temple, also called Wat Chalong, is 6.4 km away and is one of the island's most revered Buddhist temples.

For a day out, the large white Buddha on its hill is one of the island's best-known sights, and Phuket FantaSea, a cultural theme park with evening shows, is another choice for the evening. Phuket International Airport is 24.3 km from the hotel, and an airport transfer is offered. A quieter day can start on the beach, with the busier streets of the town only a short walk back.
