The nearest train stop is Hua Mak Station, 850 m from the hotel, and the Airport Rail Link stop there runs to Suvarnabhumi Airport, 13.8 km away, while Don Mueang International Airport is 19.9 km away. Piyapirom Park is a green space nearby, and Pattanakarn Market is a local market close by. For bigger shopping, Siam Paragon is about 10.6 km away, and the Chatuchak Weekend Market, one of the biggest weekend markets in Bangkok, is a longer trip.

For a full day out, the Grand Palace complex and Wat Arun, on the Chao Phraya river, are classic sights of old Bangkok, a longer trip from the hotel, so it is best to plan them as a day of their own. Back at the hotel, the hot tub, the solarium and the outdoor pool make an easy way to end the day, and the garden offers a place to sit.
