Ekkamai BTS Station is 1.6 km from the hotel, on the Sukhumvit line of the skytrain. Siam Paragon, a large shopping centre in the Siam district, is 6.8 km away, and Chatuchak Weekend Market, one of Bangkok's largest weekend markets, is 9.2 km away. Taxis and the skytrain are the usual ways to get around from the hotel. The Jim Thompson House, a museum of traditional Thai teak houses, is another place to visit across the city.

For a day in old Bangkok, the Grand Palace is 11.4 km away, and Wat Arun, the Temple of Dawn on the Thonburi bank of the Chao Phraya, is across the river from it. The Temple of the Emerald Buddha, Wat Phra Kaew, sits within the Grand Palace complex. The old town is a full day of temples and palaces, and it rewards a slow walk through the grounds. Suvarnabhumi Airport is 17.3 km away.
