The rooms at Bangkok Marriott Hotel Sukhumvit run from 36 m² guest rooms to two-bedroom presidential suites of 165 m², and most of the room types have city views. Several suites have two bedrooms and sleep up to four guests, while a one-bedroom suite of 70 m² sleeps up to three.

Thong Lo BTS Station is 250 m away, and the Sukhumvit line runs to Siam, where Siam Paragon, a large shopping centre, is 5.6 km from the hotel. Closer to hand, the Soi 38 night market has food stalls and small shops in the evening, The Strand Park offers a green place for a walk, and the Museum of Thai Pharmacy and the Green Lantern Museum are a short walk away, both within the same few hundred metres of the hotel.

A day in the wider city could start with Chatuchak Weekend Market, the large market open at weekends, and end with dinner back in Sukhumvit. For the old city, The Grand Palace is 10.1 km away, with the Temple of the Emerald Buddha inside its grounds, and Wat Arun, on the Chao Phraya river, makes another stop for a day of temples. Suvarnabhumi Airport is 18.7 km from the hotel.
