Both rooms at Bangkok Apartments measure 55 m² and have a private bathroom, a refrigerator, ceiling or portable fans and a television. Free Wi-Fi covers all rooms.

One room sleeps up to five guests and the other up to four. Rooms can also include air conditioning, a desk, a hair dryer and toiletries.

Bangkok Apartments is in Banglamphu, the old-city district of Phra Nakhon, on Thanon Phra Sumen. The area holds two very different sides of Bangkok at once: Khaosan Road, a lively strip of guesthouses, street-food stalls and evening crowds, and the royal temples of Rattanakosin, which can be reached on foot or by boat. Street life runs late on Khaosan Road, while the lanes around the temples are calmer in the evening.

Wat Bowon Niwet, a royal temple, is 200 m away, and the Khaosan Road strip is 500 m away. The Grand Palace is 1.6 km away, and Wat Arun stands on the opposite bank of the Chao Phraya river, 2.3 km away, reached by the river boats. For longer trips, Suvarnabhumi Airport is 28 km away.

A good first day combines the Grand Palace with Wat Phra Kaew, the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, then a boat across the Chao Phraya river to Wat Arun. Wat Pho, known for its large reclining Buddha, is also in the old city and can be added to the same walk. Back in the Banglamphu lanes, the evening can be spent on Khaosan Road itself. Chatuchak Weekend Market, one of the largest markets in Bangkok, lies further out and is best kept for a separate day.
