Air conditioning is in every room at Bangkok Apartments, and each room has its own bathroom and free Wi-Fi. The rooms measure from 30 m² and offer single beds, double beds, a king bed or bunk beds, so the choice ranges from two guests to six.

Toiletries are provided in every room, and most rooms have a TV. The 40 m² room sleeps up to six guests on three bunk beds, and the 30 m² rooms sleep up to two guests each.

Hospitals and convenience stores are nearby, and Don Mueang airport is the closest airport, so the district is a convenient place to stay for an early flight or a stopover. The rest of Bangkok is reached by metro and by road from here.

Suvarnabhumi Airport is 31.3 km away. The Government Complex MRT station and the Chaeng Watthana 14 MRT station are both 2.4 km from the property. Around them are Thung Song Hong Community Housing Park, a community park, and Wat Welu Wanaram, a pagoda, with Kosum Ruam Chai Market also close by. The Open Air Night Market and the Tooney Museum are a little farther on, and Chalermprakiet Garden is another green stop within a few kilometres of the property.

A full day in the city can start at the Chatuchak Weekend Market, 12.8 km away and open on weekends, and continue to the Grand Palace, 20 km from the property, with Wat Arun on the Chao Phraya river. Back in the north, the Open Air Night Market is a short distance from the property for an evening outing.
