Banbauntoum Ta-Ngok Resort

Every room at Banbauntoum Ta-Ngok Resort has a river view and air conditioning. The resort offers a Standard Room with Breakfast, which has a double bed, and a Deluxe Villa of 36 m² that sleeps up to five guests.

Both rooms have a private bathroom with a shower, and the Deluxe Villa also has a balcony. Free WiFi is available in all rooms, and the rooms are fitted with flat-screen TVs and a mini bar in the villa.

Banbauntoum Ta-Ngok Resort sits in the Bangkuntak district of Samut Songkhram province, in central Thailand, a flat landscape of rivers, canals and farmland south-west of Bangkok. Away from the city streets, the resort sits by the water, with the Mae Klong river running through the province, and the nearby markets and temples are the main draw.

Within a few kilometres are several sights worth a half-day. Wat Kaeo Fa (2.8 km) is a pagoda temple in the countryside close to the resort, and the Amphawa Floating Market (4 km) is a canal-side market where food stalls line the water. The Maeklong Railway Market (5 km) is set up on the railway tracks, which are cleared when the train passes through. Getting around is by road, and the resort has free parking on site for guests who drive.

A good day could start at the Maeklong Railway Market and move on to the Amphawa Floating Market, with the canals and the old houses along the water as the setting. The King Rama II Memorial Park and the King Rama II Museum are close by, and the Amphawa Thai Dessert Museum is a short drive further on for those who want a slower afternoon.
