Back Home Backpackers offers private rooms and dormitory beds. The private rooms include a triple, a twin, a double and a single room, each with air conditioning, a TV and a hair dryer, and free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms. Each private room has its own bathroom with a shower, toiletries, towels and a socket near the bed.

The dormitory rooms are the mixed 10-bed and 8-bed rooms and the 4-bed female room. They measure 30 to 40 m², each has a street view, and they have bunk beds or single beds, with a fan, air conditioning, towels and linens.

The 24-hour front desk handles luggage storage, lockers and safety deposit boxes, and it can arrange ticket services, tours and a taxi service. Daily housekeeping is offered, and cash withdrawal is available on site.

The bar, the restaurants, a coffee shop, a shared kitchen and a kitchenette give guests several places to eat and drink, and alcohol is served. There is also a nightclub, a game room, a dart board, a pub crawl and on-site entertainment.

Wi-Fi is available in public areas and in all rooms, free of charge. The shared lounge and TV area is a common space where guests can relax, and the rooms are reached by stairs.

Back Home Backpackers is in Bangkok's Khaosan area, in the Banglamphu district, where Khaosan Road is a well-known backpacker street with guesthouses, bars and street-food stalls. The street is 550 m from the hotel, and the historic old city of Phra Nakhon, with its royal palaces and temples, is reachable on foot. The area is lively after dark, when the bars and food stalls fill the street.

Among the sights nearby are the Grand Palace, 1.7 km away, and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, which sits inside its walls. Wat Phra Chetuphon, home to a giant reclining Buddha, and Wat Arun, a riverside temple on the Chao Phraya with a tall, tiered spire, are other temples worth seeing. Further out, the Jim Thompson House shows Thai silk and art in a traditional teak house, and the Chatuchak Weekend Market is 6.7 km away.

Taxis and the MRT are the practical ways to get around, and Sam Yot MRT Station is nearby. Don Mueang International Airport is 20.1 km away and Suvarnabhumi Airport 28.3 km. A day out could start with the Grand Palace and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha in the morning, continue along the river to Wat Arun, and end back on Khaosan Road in the evening.
