Baanwaan Resort

The rooms at Baanwaan Resort measure between 45 and 90 m², and each one sleeps up to four guests. Garden views are a feature of several rooms, and two of them have a balcony or terrace, so there are rooms with outdoor space.

Most rooms have king beds, one has a queen bed, and the two 90 m² rooms each have two king beds. Several rooms have a private bathroom with a shower, air conditioning and a TV, and some bathrooms come with toiletries. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, and free bottled water is provided in several of them, along with free instant coffee in some rooms.

The resort has an outdoor swimming pool and an indoor swimming pool, and there is a children's swimming pool as well. The grounds include a garden area and BBQ facilities, and daily housekeeping is offered. The outdoor pool has sunbeds around it, and the garden area has comfortable seating for relaxing between swims or games.

Baanwaan Resort is in the area around Hat Yai University, with the campus 600 m away, in Hat Yai, the busy commercial city of Songkhla province in southern Thailand. Its garden grounds offer a green spot for guests who want a break from the city's traffic and shops, while the main shopping and food areas are a short distance away.

Within a few kilometres you can reach Central Festival Hat Yai, a large shopping centre 1.8 km away, and the Asean Night Bazaar, a night market 2.1 km away. The Magic Eye 3D Museum and Wat Hat Yai Nai, a temple, are also in the area. Hat Yai International Airport is 9.9 km away, and the railway station is 2.6 km away, while the resort offers a taxi service.

A day could start with a walk in Hat Yai Municipal Park, then move on to the shopping centre, and end at the night bazaar with food from the stalls. Visitors who like museums can add the Magic Eye 3D Museum to the route. For a slower pace, the resort's garden grounds, with their comfortable seating, are a good place to spend the afternoon before heading out to the evening market.
